SY Grace West Indian Market Reviews

I always go to Grace to purchase my seafood, vegetables, and seasonings. The fish is always fresh! Rigo, Anthony and Andrew are my favorites! They all serve me with a laugh or a smile! Each time I walk in I yell out their names just to see their contagious smiles! They are very professional and tired! They need more days off with pay! Truly they are exceptional people that work fast and hard! I know how tiring this type of work can be! Many blessings to them for taking care of SY Grace as if this place is their very own business!

Love this place a feel of home on foreign soil. Great people fresh produce and amazing prices. Love these people!!!

Finally found my peanut punch drink after craving one for so long. They do have all your items besides the punch and parking.

They the best and freshest produce! Everything time I go, I see the friendly staff greeting customers with a smile! Amazing West Indian products you can't find anywhere else! The best!

Love this market I come here to get my fresh butter fish and any other West Indian spice I use to cook my Jamaican dishes they even carry Jamaican banana chippies! They have good deals you just have to know when to go to catch them.

I love this supermarket it's the only place that is close for me to get to from Manhattan. Always has the Caribbean items here.

I shop here all the time, at least twice a week. The people are very friendly and jovial. Their produce is one of the best in town and their fish is always fresh. Their prices are reasonable and comparable to other fruit and vegetable stores in the area. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Fresh salmon and shrimp. When trying these products from here, you can't help but realize that the quality that restaurant chains such as Red Lobster do not even come close to the quality SY provides. Why pay more for less and inferior quality? Just got to put some time in to cook it! The fruit especially the mangoes do not compare to the ones you get at your typical supermarket such as Shoprite. A lot sweeter and definitely a lot more fresh. I'm also pretty sure the prices might actually be cheaper as well. Finally, first time I was there, seems like they really do a lot for their community (not from the area) but overheard plenty of customers asking for certain products, and I guess the specific store brand? They refused to buy the other brand because they wanted to support the store brand because "they want to support the people that support their community". Best part about it all was that all the owner. Great guy, that went out of his way to help me out with suggestions (which were the salmon, shrimp, and mangoes) for my weekly meal prep. Definitely have no problem giving my business to an owner that actually goes out of his way when it seems like the store is always so busy. Definitely can't wait to go back whenever I'm around that area
